Cross-platform first

For most projects we rely on cross-platform development: one code base for both platforms, faster iterations and lower costs over the entire lifetime of the app.

• Ionic / Capacitor – apps built on web technologies: ideal when web know-how already exists in the team or when web and app versions should share one code base.
• React Native – native UI with React: proven for apps with high demands on look & feel in a React-savvy environment.
• Flutter – Google’s UI toolkit: strong for individual designs and consistent behavior on both platforms.

Where native functionality is required – from push notifications to camera and sensors to platform-specific APIs – we develop native modules and integrate them cleanly.

Automation: CI/CD and testing

We automate builds, signing and app store deployment with fastlane and GitHub Actions. Unit tests and end-to-end tests safeguard quality across every version – from the first release to the update in year ten.

APIs and backends

Apps live on their data. We specify and implement interfaces – in the app, on the server side and to third-party systems such as CMS, shops or internal IT landscapes.
