What does an app cost?

Honest answer: it depends on scope – a companion app with a few features is a different animal than a customer portal with backend integration. After a first conversation we can narrow the effort down seriously. More important than the initial price: the cost over the app’s whole lifetime. Cross-platform development and automation are what keep exactly that low.

How long does development take?

From kick-off to store release, typically three to nine months depending on scope – including requirements and app review. We produce a reliable timeline after the requirements analysis.

Cross-platform or native?

For most requirements cross-platform is the more economical choice: one code base, both platforms. Where native functionality is needed we integrate native modules. How we choose is described on our technology page.

Who owns the code?

You do. We work source-available: you get full access to the source code and repositories – no vendor lock-in.

What happens after launch?

OS updates, new devices, store policies, security patches: an app needs continuous care. That is what our app maintenance with fixed monthly packages is for.
