Our default is GitHub Actions, but fastlane works with practically any CI system. What matters is what fits your infrastructure.

Why fastlane?

fastlane has been the de-facto standard for mobile release automation for years: open, scriptable and carried by a large community. We have used it in projects for many years.

What does test automation actually buy me?

It turns “hopefully nothing breaks” into a verifiable criterion: every change runs through the same tests. Especially for apps maintained over years, that is the difference between calm and risky releases.
